Team Unnati and Dept. of E&CE is planning to organize the PCB training on 19/12/2021 and inauguration will be on 17/12/21. We thank all the interested students for regestering for the workshop. More than 79 batches (150 students) have shown interest from different colleges. Now the following batches are selected for the training (Only SDMCET EC Dept.). The participants are here by informed to contact their Volunteer/ Mentor. For the other college students PCB design workshop will be organised later.

Registration details and reschedule of workshop

 Good evening to all of you. I had a plan to conduct PCB workshop for 15 batches. I am very happy to share that more than 78 batches have registered/ shown interest in the workshop. Due to pandemic the Insignia may be postponed. I am very much interested to organize this event. Let us wait for some time and after that i will organize this event. My student coordinators will contact you once everything becomes normal. Few faculty invited us to their college to organize this workshop. We will do that also after some time.

PCB Design workshop scheduled on 18/12/2021 during Insignia 2021

About the event             The 555 timer Astable mode - LED blinking kit will be provided to each batch consisting of two students. The students will get hands on experience of PCB design, etching process, drilling, soldering as well as testing. The selection process is based on first come first serve.  After the workshop participants can take the 555 timer circuit built by them on the PCB.

Information: As it is hands on and components should be kept ready before the workshop only limited batches will be taken.  

 Rules:

1.    The students should bring waste cloth.

2.    The students should bring iron box per batch.

3.    They should not wear costly cloths as they are going to work with ferric chloride.

4.    If possible they can bring laptop.      All the participants will get a participation certificate.

PCB Workshop - 2021

 “The institution of Engineers (India) Dharwad Local Centre is planning to organize a PCB Design workshop tentatively scheduled on 3 and 4 April or 10^th and 11^th April at IEI Dharwad local centre (Near KCD) for the Engineering and Diploma students. The regulated power supply (RPS) kit will be provided to each batch consisting of two students. The students will get hands on experience of the PCB design, etching process, drilling, soldering as well as testing. These types of workshops are organized regularly in SDMCET E&CE Dept. The selection process is based on first come first serve.  The Registration fee is Rupees 1100/- for each batch.  The registration fee does not include Meals, Accommodation (High Tea may be given).
